Three Channel Video Projection, Church Pew
2015
Iom Kosmo created a scared space in the gallery, a tiny cosmos formed by filming light projected through crystal quartz, a stone attributed to bringing about our highest selves. The shifting light and ambient audio create a place for contemplation and openness. Viewers were invited to sit and watch the videos on a reclaimed church pew from the Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church in the Outer Mission neighborhood of San Francisco.
